Altech Autopage Cellular has launched a Repair Helpdesk to provide more outstanding service to you, our customers.

 

We understand the frustration that can be endured when your phone goes faulty therefore to make the repair process hassle free our Repair Helpdesk has been established. Our Repair Helpdesk is licensed to operate as an effective point of reference for any repairer details, or as a facilitator between you and the actual repair centre should the need arise. Our access and involvement pertaining to warranty conditions and the repair procedures are limited; we are expected to abide according to the policy and procedures of the handset manufacturer and their respective repair centers.

As a repair helpdesk we will provide the following services to our clients:

  • To investigate repair queries, that emanate via our Business Partners or the Repair Centre.
  • To advise you, our clients of the different policy’s and procedures by the different repair centers and manufacturer’s. 
  • Advise you on In and Out of Warranty costs, physically damaged repair costs, and the policy behind an unauthorized repair center or person tampering with the handset.
  • To arrange pre-booking of your handset’s at selected Repair Centers.
  • Arrange for your faulty handset to be collected from you via courier at an affordable fee.
  • To track the repair status of your faulty handset.
  • To inform you when your faulty handset is repaired.

Keeping you connected

Cellular telephones and accessories provided to you by Altech Autopage Cellular all carry warranties from the manufactures, whether Motorola,Nokia, Samsung or other brands. Each manufacturer sets the terms and conditions of their warranties, repairs and replacements with these been handled at the manufacturesrs discretion. These criteria are in turn passed down to Altech Autopage Cellular to follow and impliment. However, Altech Autopage Cellular has a service level agreement with each of the manufacturers whose goods we offer, because we want to receive the best service possible.

For example, if your cellular telephone is faulty when you take it out of the box, you must return it to Altech Autopage Cellular within 7 days of your purchace and activation. The handset must meet all the criteria set out on the OUT OF BOX FAILURE CLAIM FORM found in the back of your Welcome Wallet in order for Altech Autopage Cellular to replace the unit with an identical model free of charge, subject to stock availability.

You need to return the cellular telephone with no evidence of physical or water damage, in its original undamaged packaging, with all accessories and manuals. You are invited to return the Cellular Telephone to the authorized Altech Autopage Cellular store where your purchace was made together with the original proof of purchace and a completed signed original or copy of the OUT OF BOX FAILURE CLAIM FORM found in your Altech Autopage Welcome Wallet.

If the cellular telephone, accessories, manual or the box in which it was supplied be either lost or damaged – the cellular telephone will not qualify for a swap out, but will be sent to an authorized repair agent for attention (you will need to return the cellular telephone directly to the manufactures or the Altech Autopage Cellular store from which it was bought) Any repairs or replacements will then be under the terms and conditions of the manufactures warranty. Please note: Should your cellular telephone require repairs, Altech Autopage Cellular will send your cellular telephone to the handset manufacturer on your behalf, but the courier fees could be billed to your Altech Autopage account.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

The cellular telephone must be returned within 7 days of your purchace and activation with:

  • The original packaging/box showing no signs of physical or water damage.
  • All sleeves acompaning the handset to be returned undamged.
  • No signs of physical or water damage to the cellular telephone.
  • All accessories and manuals must be returned.
  • Proof of purchace attached or copy of relivent agreement.
  • Completed signed original or copy of OUT OF BOX FAILURE CLAIM FORM found at the back of the Altech Autopage Welcome wallet.
