To configure your email accounts directly from your BlackBerry smartphone, follow the instructions below:

  • To get to the email setup site:

If there’s an Email Setup option on your Smartphone’s home screen, click it.
Alternately, there’s a setup wizard on the smartphone that will either start automatically the first time you turn on your smartphone or be featured as an icon on your Smartphone’s home screen. When you reach the email setup screen of the setup wizard, select I want to create or add an email address.

  • Click Next.
  • To accept the terms of the license agreement, select the I have read and understand the End User Agreement option or check box. Click I Agree.
  • To integrate an email address you already use, enter your full email address and the password for that email account.
  • Click Next. The site will confirm if the email address has been successfully added. Click OK.
  • If you want to create a new email address for your BlackBerry smartphone (e.g. username@carrier.blackberry.com), you’ll need to do one of the following, depending on your smartphone:

Click Create a BlackBerry email address OR
Click I would like to create a new BlackBerry email address.
Then, type the user name you want to appear before the @ sign in your new BlackBerry email address. Click Next, followed by OK.

  • To return to the setup wizard, click Log Out or Close.

  • You’ve successfully added an email address to your smartphone. Click Ok.
  • To add another email address to your smartphone, repeat steps 5–8. To exit the email setup wizard, click Close.

  • From the home screen, go to Setup.
  • Click Setup Wizard.
  • Click Email Setup.
  • Read the End User Agreement. Select Yes and click I agree.
  • In the setup wizard, on the Email Accounts screen, select the Add an existing email account option by clicking Add.
  • On the Email Setup screen, select your email service provider and click Next. If you don’t see your email service provider listed, select Other and click Next.
  • Enter your email address and password information, and select Next.
  • You’ve successfully added an email address to your smartphone. Click Ok.
  • To add another email address to your smartphone, repeat steps 5–8. To exit the email setup wizard, click Close.

  • Type the email address information and click Next.
  • Click Ok.
  • To create a new email address for your Smartphone, click Create. Type your desired BlackBerry email address and password.
  • Choose a secret question from the list or create your own. Then enter the answer in the space provided. Click Next.
  • Click Ok.
  • To log out of the email setup website, click Close.
